Datascape is an exciting data visualization competition hosted by SRM Institute of Science and Technology. Participants will be given data sets to analyze and visualize it using Power BI, Tableau turning raw data into insightful and visually compelling stories. This event is a platform for data enthusiasts, analysts, and students to showcase their skills and creativity.

Event Highlights:

1. Workshops: Learn the latest Power BI features and advanced techniques from experts.
2. Hands-on Sessions: Real-time problem-solving with datasets provided by our partners.
3. Live Presentations: Finalists will present their visualizations in front of a panel of judges,
showcasing their creativity, insights, and data storytelling abilities.

Competition Guidelines:

Round 1: Visualization Challenge
Teams are required to create visualizations using the insights gained from Round 1. Tools like Tableau, Power BI, Python (Matplotlib/Seaborn), or any other preferred software can be used. The focus is on transforming raw data into a visually compelling narrative.

DURATION: 90 MINS

Round 2: PowerPitch: Present Your Insights

Each team must present their visualization, explaining the story behind the data and its implications. Presentations should include the methodology, tools used, challenges faced, and decisions made during visualization

DURATION: 10 mins for the presentation, 5 minutes for Q&A with judges.
